The records of the following table are turned out from our lab test, e.g. after W/S/V Series have been soaked in different solvents for 24 hours.

Legend:

Solvent Resistance:

A: Excellent

B: Good

C: Acceptable

D: Not Recommended.

Solvent Swelling Rate:

A: 0-10%

B: 11-20%

C: 21-40%

D: above 40%

Although polyurethane is generally recognized as being highly resistant to solvents, it is nevertheless recommended that where necessary, sample of less common solvents be supplied for evacuation in our laboratory to enable us to supply the most suitable grade.

Resistance to solvent swelling is increased as polyurethane hardness increases.
